STARTING WITH THE ART

STARTING WITH THE ART

I began by collecting all my previous graphic prints and art that I had created over the years, selecting my favourite designs, reworking and refining them into Glicee Fine Art Prints.

Armed with a script and a basic narrative, we knew that we had to create this animation using just stock photography. To execute this in slick way, I sought inspiration from fashion and fin-tech brands to create this minimal, fresh scene.

PRINTS TO T-SHIRTS

PRINTS TO T-SHIRTS

The prints I had designed were very graphic and bold, and went well on T-shirts. After finding a print on demand manufacturer, I printed out my designs and took photos of the shirts on my friends in cool locations.

The video was to communicate why time will be saved with this new technology. We had to be clear and concise in our visuals and story-telling to articulate this to the award judges.

Wanting a brand to hold everything together, I opted for the name of my old Tumblr page. The name comes from my Dad's old Refrigeration business in Goa, and Goa inspired the colours and palm tree icon of the brand.

Not only was this great techonology, it was something that customers really took to and was great success for the bank.

THE WEBSITE

THE WEBSITE

With a lot interest on Instagram and a brand in place, I created an e-commerce website using Big Cartel. Filled with the yellow Tropicool patterns, the lifestyle images, and my very own copywriting, and inspirational videos, Tropicool became live.

OUR FIRST EXHIBTION

The opportunity came to have an exhibition at Eden House, SapientRazorfish, London. I used my brand to create posters and emails to advertise the event, and curated a really fun afternoon, with beer and samosas.
